Lord Jesus, we recall the example of forgiveness and perseverance that St. Rita of Cascia gave to us. There are times when we are faced with difficult situations and people and often times want to retaliate instead of seeking reconciliation and forgiveness. During these moments, may we have the humility to seek forgiveness and to be bearers of reconciliation. We ask this in your name. Amen.
