God our Father, we remember this day St. Bernardine of Siena who labored with the sick and dying throughout his life. His example leads many to follow with the caring of those who were in need of assistance. May we find ourselves responding with this same dedication to offer assistance when we hear and see those in need. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
