Loving God, send us your spirit so that we may remain faithful to your will in our lives and follow you with courage and strength. When times are difficult and there seems that there is no hope, let us recall the gift of your Spirit to help us and guide us in all that we do. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
