God our Father, we celebrate the occasion of your Son ascending into heaven and returning to be with you. Like the apostles, we sometimes find ourselves wandering around wondering what to do next in life. May we receive the confidence to increase our belief in you and follow you with courage. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
