God our Father, in the plan of salvation your Son Jesus accepted the cross and opened the gates of heaven for all those who believe in your words. As we walk this journey may we come to share in the glory of his resurrection. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
